About Pine Eden Press

Michael James writes:

As this memoir’s writing, editing, and design advanced over several years, my aspirations for a better way of introducing it coalesced. Pine Eden Press was born from this experience and will continue, offering new opportunities for my work and the creative works of peers. I am now researching and developing a narrative located in the immigrant experience of textile mill workers in New England in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The visual art that I’ve been creating for near fifty years will also provide material for limited edition catalogues and monographs documenting the practices and purposes of my studio production. Alongside these personal explorations, I am eager to collaborate with like-minded visual and literary artists to help bring their creativity to wider audiences, between the covers of carefully and sensitively produced limited editions.
